In 2007 we opened our doors to the fitness and therapy facility for disease prevention. We wanted to create an comfortable environment without the stereotypes and intimidation factor that traditional gyms have. We set out to give disease prevention a voice and a place in our future’s healthcare system. We feel very strongly that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound in cure and will continue to promote healthy living until everyone and every body in our community is touched by this truth.
We are a living testiment to the programs and services we provide and wish wellness to all the members of the Georgian Bay community…it is why we started and why we will continue to do what we do. We consider all fitness and healthcare providers to be our allies and ultimately see our biggest competition as the couch!
We look to take the guess work and confusion out of what it means to be well by offering simple to get started and easy to stick to programs and services. We meet each one of our members, clients and patients where they are when they get started and together take the necessary steps towards better health and wellbeing.
Some of the things that we do to achieve our mission revolve around keeping ourselves up to date with scientifically proven programs, products and services. As well as being home to some of the best purpose driven professionals in their respective trades. We care about our clients and we strive to deliver results.
In 2008 we sent a strong message to our federal members of parliament and are happy to announce that in 2011 the Liberal Government approved the Adult Fitness Tax Credit. This will allow a credit of up to $500 for supervised fitness programs. We will keep you posted as to which tax year the credit will commence.
